It is called : Representation theory of finite groups-Benjamin Steinberg. It is written in a very simple way and as you said that the proof are given in detailed manner( without writing that it is trivial). A very striking feature of that book is that it doesn't use any kind of Module theory , that is, the theory semisimple modules, Artin

It depends how much algebra you know. If all you've had is, say, a first course in group theory/some ring theory, then I'd definitely recommend Representations and Characters of Groups by James & Liebeck. It's extremely well written and self contained, so they introduce everything they need. H. Heyer, T. Hirai and N. Obata (eds.), Infinite Dimensional Harmonic Analysis, Transaction of a Japanese-German Symposium (1999, Kyoto Univ.), Kyoto 1999. Martin Lorenz. Representation theory investigates the different ways in which a given algebraic object—such as a group or a Lie algebra—can act on a vector space. Besides being a subject of great intrinsic beauty, the theory enjoys the additional benefit of having applications in myriad contexts outside pure mathematics, including quantum field to the Schur functions in this theory are the zonal polynomials.

As such, my suggestions are probably not applicable if you want to learn about the representation theory used in RRB JE 2019: In this article, we are going to share the list of best books available for the preparation of RRB JE 2019 (CBT 1 & 2) Exam. RRB JE 1st Stage CBT 2019 Exam will be held from 22nd May 2011-02-01 · dimensional representation of U is a direct sum of irreducible representations. As another example consider the representation theory of quivers. A quiver is a finite oriented graph Q. A representation of Q over a field k is an assignment of a k-vector space Vi to every vertex i of Q, and of a linear operator Ah: Vi ⊃ Vj to every directed Thomkins-Bigelow’s picture-book debut, Mommy’s Khimar illustrated by Ebony Glenn (2018), offers a joyful representation of a little girl within a supportive Muslim American family and community, and this forthcoming picture book beautifully portrays a young girl learning that she can teach others the beauty of diverse names. What may seem at a first glance like just another mathematical gimmick of group theory, is of incredible importance in physics. One can consider the Poincaré group (the set of all transformations that leave the speed of light constant) and use the framework of representation theory to construct the irreducible representations of this group. First, a new theory emerges from an old theory with the latter being subsumed in, or replaced by, the former.

If d = [√ It’s comparable to Zwiebach’s book. Zwiebach’s book is easier to get started on, but hard to finish, because there really is a lot there. In Lust and Theisen, first of all it is string theory of an earlier era, when things were simpler, and there wasn’t quite so much to learn.
